BETTER TOGETHER
Having worked both here and overseas at some of the industry’s renowned creative hotspots, our directors have gained outstanding experience in the best creative environments, with some of the very best creative people.
This experience, and a great team of designers
and project managers provide the foundation
for Mr B & Friends.
Our team has complementary skills and personalities and a shared passion for great ideas and creative excellence. But we’re all different, and it’s this energy that generates the creative spark required to produce great ideas for our clients.

What’s the big idea? Over the past 20 years, I’ve learnt that by focusing on the small detail will help you to find the answers to this big question. And that’s what I love doing. Immersing myself and my team into client organisations, asking questions, challenging views, uncovering truths and then constructing inspiring strategies for brands and companies.
My career has included some of London’s finest creative agencies, but nothing beats starting and growing your own agency. Mr B & Friends reflects the experience of our entire team – individually and collectively. Packaged up and designed to benefit our clients.
Away from the office, I spend most of my time sharing my two main passions with my young sons: football – playing as well as being a long-suffering supporter of Manchester City and skiing.

My background has been all forms of graphics and branding really - identity design, on-screen animation, advertising, web, literature and packaging, having led larger design teams both here and overseas in my last role as CD of DDB/Interbrand, New Zealand.
I guess I'm a mix of brand designer and art director, I love all forms of design - art, graphics, photography, illustration, product etc. So when the chance to join Simon again came up, and move the family back to the UK, we jumped at the chance. I like the slightly smaller, fluid agency style we are creating, where we all get closer to our clients, without traditional agency heirarchies, it helps us to produce better work.
In my spare time, I like the outdoors, sports and travel and I'm kept busy getting muddy knees with my son or re-enacting mad dance routines with my daughter.

Whilst studying my Business & Management degree in Bath I worked part-time with Mr B & Friends and discovered a real passion for all things brand! Once I graduated, I jumped at the opportunity to join full-time. I now work with clients on a daily basis contributing to and managing a range of projects including integrated campaigns, strategic branding projects and website developments. I’m also the social media geek of the agency!
The real highlight for me is the challenge of working on such a diverse range of projects with some really great clients. Some clients I have worked with so far include; NHS, Saracen Datastore, Bristol City Football Club, Real Gap, Trek America, Greenergy and King Sturge.
When I’m not at work I like doing the usual things, seeing friends, a good shop and I’m a big fan of a tasty Mojito! I love travelling, seeing new places and experiencing other cultures.

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2006 and have been working in the design industry ever since. I like the exciting challenges at Mr B & Friends and having new problems to solve everyday.
An inspiring graphic designer, Alan Fletcher said ‘Design is not what you’ve done but what you do.’ Anything is possible! For me its all about the detail and there is nothing better than a well crafted logotype or a lovely piece of print in your hands.
Away from work, I love the traveling and the outdoors (except pigeons) - getting out and about, fresh air and beautiful landscapes. I'm always up for a challenge, whether it's climbing Mount Snowdon or jumping out of a plane.

I've always liked creating things, being a designer allows me to do that for a living. After getting my degree in Graphic design I landed my first job up in Coventry where I soon learnt the many skills needed to be a creative designer amd how much I love this industry.
I’m a conceptual designer with a conceptual mind so I like to think my work has some brains as well as beauty. Being able to create a whole new look that never existed before is extremely rewarding.
It's exciting that each day is different at Mr B & Friends with new projects and challenges. I can honestly say I enjoy my job, this is what drives me to always produce work that I care about and hopefully clients will love.

I believe that all marketing communications should be memorable, motivational and measurable. Getting under the skin of an organisation and engineering strategic solutions to challenging questions that gain share of mind and inspire action are, what makes working in the communications industry my real passion.
My 15-year career has seen me working with clients across both the private and public sectors on projects ranging from strategic branding and marketing communications to broadcast and digital production.
I committed to providing our clients with a first class level of service and to developing working relationships that are based on trust and that are underpinned by our dedication to effectiveness.
Outside of the office I love entertaining, exploring and sharing new experiences with my young family and friends.

Working as a web developer at Mr B is constantly rewarding, challenging and above all interesting. I’ve over 10 years of making websites now and have worked for some interesting clients along the way, including Lloyds, Lexus, Royal Post Office, RAC, Steria.
I am interested in how we can improve our customers’ use of digital media, in particular focusing on the web and how this sector is driving businesses forward in new, unexpected and always interesting ways.
Outside of work I like to crank it up on the dance floor!

I love people and that’s why I work in this industry. I believe people make an organisation thrive and, in turn, it’s those super-bods that become ambassadors of your brand. Get your internal engagement right and you’re nearly there!
My experience lies in global communication initiatives, positive project management, experiential marketing, thoughtful strategy and exquisite execution, from within a variety of industries both in-house and agency. Along the way I’ve established some great relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers: having a chat really makes my day a good one! I’m a perfectionist, organised and want to get it right which results in exact delivery and great support.
I build dens, splash in puddles and ride bikes with my family at the weekend. I love to party with friends, travel to new places and eat great food. Exercise burns some of my energy but the rest is in abundance for anything new that I can’t wait to try.
