How do you push the boundaries in county cricket?
Hampshire Cricket – brand architecture, naming, identity, corporate and consumer communications and environmental design
When Hampshire County Cricket Club won promotion to the County First Division, it coincided with a move to a new state of the art ground, a change of ownership and the start of a new commercial era for County Cricket.
We were appointed to modernise the HCCC brand, and to provide a new consumer experience through marketing, environments and brand engagement.
We developed a new brand architecture for the whole organisation that encompassed the new plc brand – Rose Bowl plc, the cricket club, Hampshire Cricket and the one day team: Hampshire Hawks. Each of these required a new brand identity and a wide range of stakeholder, consumer and business-to-business marketing tools.
The programme of works also included the positioning of the Rose Bowl as not only a centre of sporting excellence but also a leisure destination, business conference facility and hotel location.
