Car hire excess insurance is a category that suffers from a lack of awareness – until the moment when a consumer gets stung, that is! Our response to the client brief was to educate the market of the financial pitfalls of not having excess insurance, to introduce the brand and product as the solution and to drive direct response from the TV commercial.
Our 30″ and 10″ creative execution promised a highly individual and light-hearted expression of the brand, without impeding the key messages and direct response elements. Instead of the usual CGI approach to animations, we decided to create our advertisement completely out of paper adding craft, ingenuity and humour to our execution to make it more memorable. As usual, we demonstrated our resourcefulness in bringing together a highly skilled team of friends who worked with us to bring a fantastic production to life.
