In a cosmopolitan city like London, nowadays a sushi lunch is nearly as popular as a sandwich and a bag of crisps. So when private investors approached us to develop a new retail brand, we knew that our concept had to be as fresh as the sushi they would be serving.
Our positioning concept ‘eat well, live well’ provided the creative inspiration for the brand name, identity and retail experience. Kantan means simplicity, and this reflected their product and brand vision: wonderfully tasting simple food prepared in house.
We designed the brand and retail identity, packaging, interiors, staff uniforms and website.
