We were approached by Bath & North East Somerset NHS to suggest a way of connecting with 18-24 years olds to get tested and screened for chlamydia. Chlamydia is the most common STI in the UK. In 2009 one in 14 of 15-24 year olds who tested had a positive result for chlamydia. Women aged 16-19 and men aged 20-24 are most at risk.
Our idea was to link the current nationwide campaign ‘Worth talking about’ with the secretive nature of being tested for an STI. A colourful and youth-orientated graphic style was used to grab attention at universities, pharmacies and surgeries across the region.
