Real Gap Experience – brand strategy, guidelines, advertising, brochure design and marketing communications

Real Gap, a part of Tui’s Student Travel Division, is the leading operator in gap year breaks for young people. Their products include a wide range of exciting options from two weeks to two years in over 35 countries worldwide including adventures such as volunteering. Conservation, teaching, building and community projects.

We were approached to carry out strategic research and a brand positioning exercise, so we could help Real Gap uncover the real benefit of their offer to their customers. This manifested itself in the positioning and strapline: ‘There’s a whole world out there’. We used this and a simple graphic system to highlight individuals being in the moment, living and breathing an amazing life experience.

We then developed this idea across comprehensive guidelines and brochure templates, and are currently delivering the brand across marketing communications.
