Unlike Dustin Hoffman, Jamie knows just what he wants to do with his life….
Meet Jamie, he’s fresh out of university and has joined us for a six-month internship on the coalface.
Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Jamie wasted no time in stepping up to the role of Digital Producer. Nobody would guess that a short while ago he was sleeping in past noon and eating pizza for breakfast. Now he’s only doing one of those things, and has been spending the rest of his time dazzling the team with his digital prowess.
Originally from Jersey, Jamie spent three years studying History at Durham University before relocating to Bath in October. Musically minded, Jamie fills any spare time outside of Mr B & Friends by running his blog Tram22 Music.
Jamie’s role here is pretty varied, but essentially involves assisting our digital team in the delivery of projects. This could be anything from quality assuring the developers work, to analysing and reporting on clients’ websites. He’s also taken on the responsibility for maintaining the CXCO blog and social media presence while Kate Nicol is on maternity leave.
In Jamie’s own words, “The role here is great because it gives me an insight into agency culture while incorporating things that I enjoy. I’m learning every day, and I’ve recently started courses on Google Analytics and HTML. I’ve always wanted to work in advertising, so am hoping this role will give me a better understanding of the communications process as a whole and help me decide what my next career step will be!”
