Two of the creative agency team are celebrating after receiving promotions this week. Nathan Crosby has been made Associate Creative Director, while Kieran Hawes has moved up to Senior Designer. Both have put in an outstanding effort over the last few months and the promotions are a fitting recognition of their hard work and dedication.
Nathan joined the agency in 2016 as a Middleweight Designer. Creative Director, Kate Gorringe, said that even then she knew he had the potential to be a future creative director. This is Nathan’s third promotion since joining Mr B & Friends, and is testament to the way in which he continues to show incredible creative vision, bold thinking and exceptional art direction.
Nathan has put his skills to use on a wide variety of projects over the last year, from IHG’s senior leader’s conference to OVO to Gresham Technologies. Popular with both colleagues and clients, Nathan won the ‘Friend less ordinary’ award last month, adding to his growing collection of awards that include creative team member of the year, last year’s coveted ‘Best Friend’ award and the 2022 ‘Live for the Wow’ award.
Kieran Hawes was originally spotted by former Executive Creative Director Steve Richardson at a college event and quickly secured a role with us once after cutting his teeth at a previous agency. Over the last three years, Kieran has shown his talent and capability on projects ranging from Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity brand transformation to Verne Global’s website design to pioneering Vertical Aerospace.
In 2021 Kieran won a Transform Young Contenders award in recognition of his achievements in the industry so far as well as the Mr B Award, given to one person who’s shone throughout the year. He constantly demonstrates a talent that suggests many more years experience than he has while leading the way in digital design. He can turn his hand equally to all facets of branding, from strategic communications to tactical campaigns to better connected brand experiences.
Commenting on the promotions, Creative Director Kate says, “We’ve all seen Nathan flourish in his time here, not least in the last six months, when he has really grasped his responsibilities as a creative leader. Clients love him, and his Mr B award cabinet overfloweth.
“Meanwhile Kieran’s confidence and skills within the digital space have really carried us on some key projects this year, and he’s shown tremendous maturity in his approach. I can’t wait to see him leaning into his new role, helping to guide and coach others, and embrace the responsibilities that come with his position.”
