Big brand thinking
You have experience leading teams and working with strategists in creating disruptive, distinctive brand identities.
You can amply demonstrate how you turn strategy into a singular, compelling and creative story through use of visual language. You have a clear process for taking an idea from a standing start to a polished and robust visual identity.
You work hard to understand your clients’ business, their problems and ambitions.
You have a strong background in typographic craft, and have the desire to constantly improve, pushing the idea and quality of finish, taking responsibility for every detail, embracing feedback and looking for new ways and technologies to add to the finished identity. You are consistently proactive, accountable and responsive, adapting to any situation and fresh challenge.
You know people, and how to bring them on side.
You are a persuasive presenter and work hard at building the trust and respect of your clients and colleagues. You can write strong rationales and have structured processes to help sell your ideas.
Managing people is part of your day-to-day, and you can demonstrate how you’ve helped develop the skills and careers of those you’ve coached and mentored. You bring inspiration to the team, showcasing what good looks like and helping them explore the world beyond their macs. You’re hands on, happy to roll your sleeves up, and will be keen to develop further.
You understand the commercial imperative
You know how an agency makes money and how business works, and are smart at balancing the best creative outcomes with commercial realities.
Your place in the team
You’ll be a lead creative in a team of 15 – a mix of designers, art directors, copywriters, motion and artwork production.
As a senior member of the team, you will art direct the work of other creatives, embedding high standards in ideation and craft. But equally you will be hands-on, developing your ideas into highly polished executions.
You will have access to paid training in topics agreed with your line manager, and you’ll have a clear progression plan, with opportunities for promotion.
You’ll also get involved in agency projects outside of normal project work – whether that’s improving our culture and process on the Diversity & Inclusion team, developing our own brand and marketing, or driving strategic agency initiatives forward.
