A trio of talented new Friends

The Mr B & Friends team has grown this month with three new starters.

A trio of talented new Friends

First up is Luke Jones, who has joined as a Middleweight Designer. Luke did a two-week work experience placement with the company six years ago following a portfolio review session. He then went on to hone his skills in branding, internal comms and the art of Prezi before joining us earlier this month. Luke is a bundle of energy and loves to try anything new, from cooking to adventuring to roller skating.

Emma Purnell beat tough competition to win our Future Friends 2021 competition and is working with us for a six-month graphic design internship. We’re hugely flattered that she left a full time junior designer role to join us, having had her eye on the company for a while. As our resident action woman, Emma participates in a range of sports from skiing to surfing to paddleboarding. She’s recently taken on a triathlon and has spent time lifeguarding at Henleaze Swimming Club too.

Finally, we’ve welcomed back Gareth Atkinson as Associate Planning Director. Gareth worked for Mr B & Friends for nearly three years before an interlude client side. He’s now back with us, with even more experience, and we’re delighted to have him in the team again.
