Mr B & Friends team makes waves at away day

In the Client Services team, Andy Kaye and Joe Baptiste are being promoted to Senior Account Director, while Olivia Cox is being promoted to Account Director.

Andy joined the company in 2016 and has worked his way up from Account Manager. He leads a number of consumer-facing accounts including InterContinental Hotels Group, Britvic and British Canoeing. Among his accomplishments he recently returned from a visit to Washington DC, where he ensured the seamless delivery of the IHG Senior Leaders Meeting, the cumulation of three months’ work on the design and narrative of an exhibition for key members of the IHG team.

Joe has been with the agency for four and a half years and has consistently maintained brilliant client relationships, guiding clients through the pandemic and beyond. With excellent business acumen and a calm demeanour, Joe proves time and again that he’s an asset to both the agency and his clients. He leads on accounts including Principality Building Society, Canada Life and Kerv.

Having joined the agency less than a year ago Olivia (Liv) has impressed colleagues and clients alike with her energy and ability to tackle any challenge. With accounts as varied as Ovo, Marsh Commercial, Vertical Aerospace and Lister Shearing, Liv has proven she can skilfully adapt to clients in any sector of any size.

Matt Joy, who joined the Client Services team from Bristol Sport two and a half years ago, has been promoted to the role of Business Director. Having been recognised for his deft ability to develop client relationships and grow accounts, Matt’s focus will shift towards new business, working alongside CEO Simon Barbato as the agency embarks on its next stage of expansion.

In the Operations team, Eileen Gillmore is being promoted to Senior Financial Controller. During her three-year tenure Eileen has transformed the efficiency of the agency with more accurate forecasting and reporting tools. With an eye for detail, she’s constantly tweaking the documents used across the business to make planning resource pain-free, while presenting the Board with information in a clear, digestible format.

Additionally in the Operations team, Agency Performance Director, Luke Piasecki, will join the Senior Leadership Team to sit alongside Managing Partner, Ellie Wilson, Creative Director, Kate Gorringe and Strategy Director, Adam Partridge.

Simon Barbato says, “The last year has been our busiest to date and we’re delighted to be able to recognise the contributions of members of the team who have played a huge part in that growth. They’ve epitomised our values of creating brilliant relationships and achieving superb results for clients through a positive and pragmatic approach. We’ve recently recruited a number of new colleagues and we’re looking forward to embarking on our next phase of expansion with an incredibly talented team in place.”

The team enjoyed a visit to The Wave followed by food and entertainment at Folly Farm Centre to reward the hard work across the business this year and to celebrate the successes as a team.
