The Sleep Out is a challenge event run by Llamau, the leading homeless charity in Wales, who support the most vulnerable young people and women. Participants will be building their own shelter to sleep in overnight at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday 22nd November. The event isn’t intended to replicate the difficult circumstances those they help face, but it contributes to creating awareness and raising vital funds to end homelessness in Wales.
In the 30 years since Llamau was founded, they have supported over 67,000 people. Last year’s Sleep Out raised over £65,000 to help those in need through providing safe accomodation and equipping them with the skills to be able to live independent and purposeful lives.
Joe Baptiste, Senior Account Manager at Mr B & Friends says, “The work that Llamau do to help the homeless is so important, and tackles a growing issue that we’ve seen first hand here in Bristol. We’re pleased that we can play a small part in helping the cause.”
The Mr B & Friends / Principality team have pledged to raise at least £1,500 for the charity, if you would like to help us on our way to meeting the target for this very worthy cause, please follow the link below:
