Why do good when you can do great?

Our new identity radiates positivity. Mr B & Friends has really embraced our cause and with this new look we’re looking forward to being a bold, positive and energetic force across Bristol and Weston. Paul Kerney Chief Executive

There’s no doubt about the good work happening in the healthcare charity sector. But when it comes to brand, familiar tropes are rife. ‘You can make a difference’. ‘These are our heroes’. ‘We’re empowering change’. Accompanied by low-angled people photography and lots – lots – of blue.

When two South West hospital charities merged, we knew they needed something pioneering.

Not just a unifying brand. A brand that would shine as brightly as their team, the hospitals they help, and the fundraisers who support them. A brand that – yes – celebrates every individual and their impact. But more importantly, demands attention.

Centred on a new Organising Idea of ‘Do Great Things’, we created an identity which throws a spotlight on the difference everyone can make. An unmistakable call to action.

The sunburst logo provides a single-minded beacon for the brand, a visual metaphor for the spark Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity’s people ignite. And the mark they make on their communities. Bright, simple graphics. Punched up colour. A playful, tongue-in-cheek tone of voice.

A distinctive set of brand assets which are easy to use, single-minded in application and bold in their call to arms.

A brand that’s impossible to ignore.
