Context

Sitting proudly at the top of the 2016 Sunday Times Tech Track top 100 league table for Britain’s best private tech companies, UKCloud needed a brand to match their reputation.

A specialist provider of assured cloud services, exclusively for the UK public sector. Amongst UKCloud’s client list are organisations such as the Home Office, HMRC, MoD, and the NHS.

The opportunity was to create a new brand position, proposition and identity that conveyed UKCloud’s tech company ranking, and unequivocal commitment to serving the Public Sector. To nail the brief, Mr B & Friends needed to convey how UKCloud have enabled Government departments to either migrate to cloud based solutions, or better deploy the power of the cloud through flexible, valuable cloud services.

The insight for the brand proposition is all about offering – outstanding value, simplicity and flexibility. UKCloud is able to offer this flexibility because its business model is based on consumption rather than contracted arrangement – therefore operating on a true pay-as-you-go model, and disrupting normal sector patterns.

The new articulation – Pure Commitment, illustrates the transparent and focused way in which UKCloud goes about its business. 100% dedicated cloud solutions with a pay-as-you-go model, setting them apart from their competitors.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

Up, up and away for UKCloud – building the brand style.

The UKCloud brand features a bold colour palette and imagery. Different levels of communications and literature show the infinity symbol as a background vignette to overlay images and as a base for infographics. Mr B & Friends worked collaboratively with the UKCloud team to create and hand-over a suite of templates for internal print and online use.
